    Default My C-Mon razor (pictures)

    Hey all,

I've been asked to start a thread showing a few pictures of my C-Mon razor, so here it is. I apologize for the low resolution, but I had to make due with what I had, which was my cell phone camera.

Have any of you used one of these before? What did you think? In my research on this particular model, I've noticed a fairly mixed opinion amongst its users. I'm still new to this form of shaving, so I can't say I can give a truly informed opinion on its performance.

That is a great looking razor, congrats.

I have one myself, and have honed one or two more.
Great shavers every one, as with any C-Mon I have ever tried.

Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

That looks to be a modern C-MON made by Dovo the pins are a dead give away. C-Mon Cadillac Straight Razor I am sure it is a decent razor and a good shaver it is not a vintage C-MON from the olden days though. Here is another link to a Ebay auction for the same razor, C Mon Cadillac 5 8" Hollow Ground Blade Razor Rnd Poin | eBay

Addition: From here http://straightrazorpalace.com/begin...et-member.html I realize that you know you have new C-MON made by Dovo. I am thinking of purchasing one or two when I get home.

Ive seen this razor up close and see is a beauty. Now lets see if John can keep the edge on it. Ive touched it up once already with my pasted strop.
