Sorry, I'm no help regarding origin, but that razor has, to me, "the look" ---looks like a top-quality piece of steel. There were just so many cutlery businesses, so many jobbers, so much "out-sourcing" that sometimes locating an original manufacturer is impossible. Smarter people with better reference materials may jump in here with a real answer, but that thing looks like a sweet piece to hone and use...just plain fun to hone.

Thanked: 116Sounds italian to me. Any way of getting closeups of the markings on the tang? They'd be a big help for identifying any makers marks or other names/locations.

Thanked: 4249To me this razor looks like its from Germany, Solingen. That said i didnt find any information on Parcella but there is a department store in Germany thats called Peek & Cloppenburg and is refered to as P & C often. The store been around since 1907, its a very long shot but who knows!
Nevertheless it is a nice looking tang covered razor Enjoy!
