Thanked: 1need identified
This razor was my great great grandpas. The only writing is ontario cutlery geneva ny. The scales appear to be plastic maybe resin. it took little work to restore the blade and I made new scales (out of walmart paint stir's) I used what I believe to be an arkansas whetstone (its black and a combo. One side about 80grit and the smoother side feels like glass). I shave everyother day and its better then my pro glide (5 blade). I've researched the name and found out in 1937 case bought the company. But can't find anyother info. Can anyone help

She looks fine, hone her up & shave with her.
Your great great grandpa would be proud.
As far as info, I would have to work the GOOGLE , just as you did.
Sorry I don't have any more info.

Thanked: 4249Welcome to SRP, what you found out , is that Case purchased Geneva cutlery, many have speculated that Geneva cutlery made razors for Ontario as well, im not convinced yet but it is highly possible. Ontario knife co in Franklinville,NY might be the original Ontario cutlery?
Nevertheless a good American razor and a wonderful family heirloom.Last edited by Martin103; 01-28-2013 at 04:42 AM.
