Double Duck's?
I have been watching a bunch of razors on ebay, one is a DD Special #1 infact there are several of these. I have noticed that this model (for lack of better term) doesn't command the prices that the Goldedge or Satinedge's do. Could someone explain the difference for me?
Thanks

They don't have the pretty scales. Shave great though.

Not having both I can't compare the two but the DD #1 shaves as well as any of my other shavers.

I can't believe it! That DD#1 I was watching doubled in price in the last minute. From $49.00 to $104.47
I think I will go back to pawn shops.

I have a bunch of DDs and I'll tell you the special #1 shaves equally as good as the satin edge or goldedge. I'm really not so sure what the difference is between them. They all maintain the edge equally as long also. The exception is the wonderedge which is different and hold its edge longer but shaves the same. I even have some old Lifetime's including the grim reaper and the only difference I see is the older lifetimes don't hold the edge as long as the newer series.
I think that one that went for $104 was NOS but I don't think its worth the money but thats a personal decision. I already have 2 specials so I wasn't faced with that decision. Now if I could only find a stainless duck and a satin baby.No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero
