Williams INOX Solingen...Any Info?
Hello SRP,
I just picked up this "Williams-Washington" Stainless Steel INOX Solingen 11/16" blade from ebay. The seller says it's NOS and the thing looks pretty darn new. It has bakelite scales so I know it has to be old, but I cannot find any info on this particular razor. Does anyone know anything about these> I would appreciate any info you guys may have.
Thanks again!

NOS -- did it come with a box and a wrapper? Seeing that might help to establish its age. My guess is that it's fairly modern -- 1980's or newer?? But that's seriously just a guess. Looks like a high-quality piece, and most of the junk-makers don't deal in stainless, most don't even call their junk stainless. The scales are probably some modern celluloid, a little more stable and durable than some of the older stuff. I wonder if it was maybe a Henckels-manufactured razor? "Deep-cooled" sounds like their Friodur mark. Sorry for my stream of consciousness here, just thinking.
