Default What do you think of Ragg, Sheffield?

    Hey guys,

I've seen a razor and wondered what people thought of it before I thought about getting it. It's a Napoleon by Ragg, Sheffield though not sure what size it is (the box has a 1/2 on it so not sure if this is size or something else). I've read about the company, etc, but what I can't seen to find is much info on what people think of them for shaving. Anyone here use a Ragg?

    Here's a few pics:

As with any razor, I know it's subjective but just wanted general personal opinions.

I know nothing about them but it looks like a very nice razor. depending on the price I wouldn't mind owning it and giving it a try.

Look here >>>> STRAZORS.com - all about classic razors - John & William Ragg, Sheffield.

Yeah I've read that on a few different sites, but I'm more after the "what's it like to shave with" which doesn't seem to exist. There's bound to be a few people on SRP who has one

Yeah, it's apparently new, so I assume it's NOS.

Ahhh the opinion part of it. Well just remember some like blondes and some like red heads. So far I have never met a razor I didn't like. :<0)

They are excellent razors from a prestige maker - I have a couple and I've honed many. That one looks to be in excellent condition. If the price is right, I would say go for it.

    Regards,

Thanks Neil. There's so little mentioned about them online (other than company info) I wasn't sure if they were good or not.
