Thanked: 0Help with identifying
Hey all, just trying to get some help identifying the razor I have. I know Solinger is where it was made but that's all I can come up with. Says Garantie Solinger on the blade. Also is $40.00 a good price?
Thanks,
Crash

From SRP Rules of Conduct page: Solicitations, valuations, and sales
These are not allowed on Straight Razor Place, including the Chat, except in the Vendors and Auctions sections, and the Classifieds, under the respective rules.
SRP's aims to help members in all aspects of wet shaving and straight razor techniques, it is not a marketing site. Furthermore the nature of appraisals, be they for items or services, is highly subjective.
Welcome to the forum, and I hope you get interested in your razor, beyond it's resale value. It could be a really nice shaver.

Thanked: 1184Have you shaved with it yet or does it need a honing ? It looks like a nice razor. If you like it and it shaves good it doesn't matter what the price was.
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Welcome to SRP
There is a very useful feature on this site the custom search function located at the top of this page. If you type the term Garantie into that box the results would be educational.
Have fun on the most useful shaving forum available, there is lots to learn.
