Thread: Has Anyone Catalogued Common Razors for a Particular Country?

Hi All,
As a newbie to SRs and SRP I apologise in advancing if this topic has been covered before but would like to know if there are lists which depict common brands or vendors that sold razors in a country.
I have just started collecting razors (9 to date) would like to know just how many vendors may have sold razors within Australia?
Part of my thinking is based on costs and availability/ lucky finds.
Could someone please paste a link if there is a thread with this info?

It is by no means exhaustive, and some entries are questionable to say the least, but it's a start. There are some other links on the page. The Goins book mentioned on it is helpful, but contains a great number of inaccuracies - it might be OK for your needs though.

A list of manufacturers from just the UK and USA if exhaustive would fill a fair sized book.

It is a good start that I hope to expand on.
I am hitting as many antique and flea markets as I can whilst down in Tasmania.
Of the 4 SR's that I have purchased 2 of them are Bengalls with Ward Bro's Melbourne.
Which got me thinking that Australian companies obviously embossed their names on razors so why not collect company razors.
