Hey ledemon,
If this is one of the 6 that were being sold by the same seller, he has a 14 day return policy and is top rated plus. I started to go for one, and the only reason I didn't is I like 6/8 to 7/8's.
I have one Puma and it is a quality razor. with your purchase and enjoy that razor.

Fingers crossed for you! The razor should be in a plastic sleeve with a strip of brown rust inhibiting paper so the chances of it being mint are high. Make sure you show us when you get it!

It's hard to tell you much because you have no idea what you are getting besides being a Puma. The photo wasn't of your model just an example. When you get it post some photos and then we can tell you something about it.
it's a leap of faith. I hope it works out for you.No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

Thanked: 10well here it is... My first PUMA,, although is it not NOS... as it shows signs of use. (the gold wash is almos gone),, besides that is shows a few pitting spots, two of them pretty noticeable, the good thing is that they arent close to the edge so it should be useful for many years to come. I made shure I cleaned the blade very well with metal polish where the pitting is located, so with good maintenance the pitting should not increase anymore. I made an arrangement with the seller to give me a partial refund as I wanted to keep it. So what do you think?? I had my first shave today and it was veeeery smoooth.. Im really loving this pre- WWII razor. Now I understand why everybody want a PUMA in their collection
The bad: I want another PUMA, this time a NOS PUMA gold...

ledemon,
That's too bad about not being actual NOS, but good that you followed up with the seller and he worked with you.
I really like to RenWax my razors, both for storage, but also for use. It helps keep things from sticking to the blade, offers some protection for the blade for a period of time, minus the spine and edge for obvious reasons, and I'm not sure about the gold wash.....I don't use any razors with gold. Collected some, but not really used.
Nice looking razor!!! Congrats, and enjoy it!!!
