    Price book has a "Gratian Cast Steel" and "Gratin, Jonathan", with no dates. Someone else will know more. That is an absolutely gorgeous razor

    Fantastic razor! And i totally agree with Jimmy hone it use it, cherish it, and please dont turn it into a mirror finish! More then likely a Gratian razor!

    Thanks guys!

    I'm not going to do much to it at all. I have to remove some active rust from the blade. I'm cleaning the scales and that's it....Oh, and honing of course.

    Seconded, looks like a Gratian to me. Probably 1790-1810 if I had to guess. Nice looking inlay, sweet razor. I love that black patina.
