Thanked: 21Cheap Find, winner or loser?
I found this razor at a flea market, I liked the wood and it had something about it that was calling me. $10 was the price, i liked the fact that it had thick wood scales, and that I could remove them and replace them with some beautiful bloodwood Honduran rosewood(or whatever exotic calls me). Anyway, was it worth the $10 or should I just use it for practice?
thanks for any information,
Christian

What kind of blade is it? I would use some tape for sure as the spine looks a little warn, but for 10 that looks like a steal. You may very well be able to get a very nice shaver out of that.

Ebros shave nicely. Rescale or tighten if those don't suit her (looks like a user-grade rescale; can't tell from the photos).

Thanked: 21I wish i could dive, but unfortunately due to my ear issues i cant dive but at least i can snorkel. I'm in "WAY" northern California in Eureka, so plenty of people dive around here. I just happen to be at the flea market here where i got most of my new treasures and they had a box full for $2 each so i couldn't help myself. Most shops that i have seen sell them for at least $20.

I have a buddy that works in Eureka, lives in Fortuna. Nice score on that razor, no need for me to check out any flea markets if I go over now! I saw some neat shops right around the corner from the Lost Coast Brewery last time I was over, didn't have time to check them out. You have some pretty country over there, bonus if you enjoy the "liquid sunshine".
