    Ok, I searched on the forums and couldn't find any reference to this company at all. Anyone know anything about their razors? I'm considering this as a "learning" razor but I still want it to have some good steel.

    I don't know the brand but the seller of it is at least good. I would expect that it will be a nice starter razor and come in great condition. The downside is that razors from this seller rarely stay at the low price this one currently shows, I would think that it may tripple in price before the end of the auction.

    Kavall=Stacy?

    This razor seems in very nice condition. With the MOP inlay detail, and so shiny - it would probably go for more than $20.

    Are you looking to learn to shave or to hone too? For shaving - I'd say go ahead. For honing practice - probably better to get a worse razor so that you don't destroy it. Having said this, I used a NOS nice razor that cost $100 or so for my first honing attempts and did alright. But I have also gotten brutal practice on complete junkers subsequently, which I really needed in order to improve. Worked well - I did get some light practice on an almost ready blade, got it to work and was feeling great. Then I plunged into the stormy waters of the ebay specials - but I had the reassurance of my first success.

    Cheers

    Yes, I use an online handle of Kavall as trying to convince people that I am a guy named Stacy is just too troublesome all the time. Also Kavall is rarely used in any online sites so pretty much if you see Kavall anywhere else online it's me.

    I plan on using said razor for everything. To shave with it, to learn to hone with it, and finally to not destroy my TI limited razor.
