So very true! We often forget about the personality of a blade. As a tactile person, I am quite aware of minute differences in my blades. So you will see some come up in the SOTD more often than others. And the above piece is as current as tomorrow! Maybe that is why I tend not to be a fanboy of any particular brand. And like Gold Dollars!
Thank you!

Thanked: 10Just when I though my RAD was under control, the barber advises to have a 7 day set so the razors wont get tired.., seriusly the old world Is so much interesting, I never tought this way about razors having their own personality, but at some point it DOES make sense to me. Articles like this make me always prefer the old vintage razors over the new ones.

When I got my Rameau razor, I had a long conversation with vendor using Google translate. He finally told me this:
bonjour,
cordialement
I have a sneaking suspicion that my side of the conversation might have been... Curious.
Damn though, if I could just develop psychometry, THEN I'd be in business!-Zak Jarvis. Writer. Artist. Bon vivant.

Thanked: 4249I originally left out the real title of this article and used the sub-title for the thread title. Reason being, well here it is........
I can just imagine the slew of bad jokes coming from a thread under this title.
