Thread: More than just a pretty blade...

I purchased the Thiers Issard 7 day set from The Classic Edge recently. Phil gives you the option of having them left alone and exactlay as shipped from the manufacture or he will make them really shave ready. Since I am more of an enthusiast than a collector I had Phil hone and strop each of the blades for me. Today being Saturday I decided to break out ...well...."Saturday" and take it for a shave. First Time for use from the set and it did not disappoint. The razor gave me excellent feedback, it glided smoothly across the face and left me with an amazingly smooth shave. I like it a lot.

There is really only one set....I was able to buy an empty box to store seven razors I already had. for convenience and to tidy up the group. :-)
