Some warning signs of a spiraling RAD problem:
- You no longer remember how many razors you have.
- That razor, there in the corner of the box; when did you get that?
- People on the street avoid you so you don't ask about their grandfather's razors.
- You take out a home loan in order to make more room for the collection.
- The razors you have, all together, weigh more than your car.
- Custom-coded eBay search, snipe & pay.
- It occurs to you that the Dewey Decimal system could be adapted to organize razors.
- You are on first-name basis with every antique store owner within a hundred miles.
- A few of these bullet-points don't seem silly to you.

There is no cure for RAD, however, there is a way to keep SWMBO in the dark for a while and that's why you rent a P.O. Box. Helps keep you out of trouble, helps keep the USPS afloat...plus they'll still deliver future RAD purchases to your box on Saturdays. Win win if you ask me.

Thanked: 2284I'm having a hard time with RAD too, and yes, I have no idea how many I have anymore. somewhere around 25 I'd guess. I recently found a female antique dealer who is selling off her deceased husbands razor collection. She has them priced right at the point where you question, is it worth it or not. I've purchased 7 razors from her now, and every time I go back, more show up. She keeps about 10 on display at all times, and we're talking nice razors too, with the original box's, In their original scales. I'm constantly wondering what razor are going to show up next. Drives me bonkers that I might miss a good one!!

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

How many times I had RAD
And I found some cure for it. Find some secondary hobby, it will not safe your budget....but at least you will increase your armory, for me its guitar, once I wanted to by some razor I start to look guitar shops for strings etc. After few sleepless night I finally decide what to by. As I mentioned it's didn't safe your budget but it's slow down a process for a while
