How about this one??
OK, I found this set at the following link. Is this a good set for the money? Keeping in mind I have never shaved with a straight razor yet. Some of you wanted me to post something here before I purchased a razor and I really value what you guys say so thank you in advance.

Thanked: 9For the same money - much better get a set from Tony Miller.
Here is why:
The Dovo razor from Tony will come shave-ready (one of the most important things for you!)
THe hanging strop from Tony is better (large, good quality materials and solid build, etc.)
The paddle from Tony can be had with various pastes for fine-tuning the sharpness (as opposed to 1 stone from the set you linked)
Tony might throw in a free 'second' hanging strop (which is a great strop, my daily user) - good for practice, many guys nick their first strops badly and then are sorry they might have ruined a nice strop
Tony's satisfaction guarantee and outstanding customer service are unmatched
There might be other factors, but this is off the top of my head.
Cheers

I'll second Ivo's recommendation. Every time I bought from Tony, I was left with a smile on my face.

The subject is instructed to go to http://shop.thewellshavedgentleman.c...5&categoryId=5 and choose either 1 or two pasted sides (3.0 is a waste for most users). Initials are optional and have nothing to do with strop performance

Ya think maybe our beloved New Guy is getting the picture with regards to Mr. Miller? Everyone is giving him the same advise. I don't think he gets it.
