    grabbed another one the other day and it showed up today .. blade is good , scales are a little ruff , but ill fix that ..

    I love these and want another. Is that a regrind? Mine has the same stamp but looks like it was forged by dwarves.
    One time, in band camp, I shaved with a Gold Dollar razor.

    Paky made some good stuff. I have two, and had a third, and the grind quality was all over the map I think the dwarves might have been drinking when making some of them! or perhaps they were actually forged by orcs?

    Has anyone learned anything about Packwood yet? I seem to remember he was somewhat of an enigma.

    Mine's pretty early. Just a wedge

    i have a older stubtail that looks like a regrind but who ever did it did a great job .. this is actually the first one i saw that dosent have a stubby ... i know my other one is a great shaver and i assume this one will be as well ..

    i remember we got a bit further in the last thread about them , something along the lines that after he died it was assumed his wife still had razors made with the Packwood name .. ill try to find the link here in a bit ..

    Here it is. Although we didn't get anything definitive. This link seems headed in the right direction.

    Nice find btw! I'd like to get seven of these eventually. But some time around July, the price went up. lol

    i think i paid bout double of what i paid for the first one .. i saw couple more but there was more work needed then i want to do ..lol

    So That is it! Lots of us, in an inordinate number, have one! Old Packwood had more than one razormaker, for shure. He could have been doling out seconds!
    Might explain inconsistancies! This guy was a salesman!~
