Thanked: 0Malhami Moshy & Rahaim Razor
I inherited a simple Straight razor, that was my mothers, fathers i guess. I have researched the name below, but nowhere can I find those names together. Malhamai and sons operated a shop in New York, in 1904, and Moshy & Rahaim operated a shop in New York between 1902 and 1906. i can't figure out when the two got together, but As far as I can tell this may be a rare occurance. It is a Celebrated Uncle Sam Razor No. 107 Any input would be helpfull and appriciated. Thanks.

pics would help in indentification, are the names stamped onto the show side or the backside of the tang?

Malhami & Son - George Malhami, a citizen of Turkey, his son Gabriel Malhami, a citizen of US.
Moshey & Rahaim - the owners were Joseph Moshey(Moshy) and Sheki Rahaim, citizens of Turkey.
Two companies were the import agencies. Many German companies worked/work with Turkey. So, most likely, citizens of Turkey made the cooperative "Malhami, Moshy & Rahaim". IMO.Last edited by manah; 03-01-2013 at 03:17 PM. Reason: typo
