Just so long as you are aware of the issues and watch it carefully..

It is actually called Galvanic Corrosion/Reaction, also keep it in the back of your mind that you are not only mixing Copper, Water and Carbon Steel, but you can also be introducing Alkaloids and/or Acids from the products

I don't think the reaction is really all that dramatic though since I have seen some pretty old razors that had copper pins and spacers and there really wasn't any noticeable damage. The razor would probably outlive most before anything noticeable I think.
