    Default Wood vs. Horn Scales

Hey. Quick question. I have a lot of horn scaled razors but no woods.

I'm looking at purchasing one of 2 razors. Both are the same make of the blade but the difference is horn scales and wood scales.

Are there any real downsides to wood scales. The cost is another 10 Euros so about $14 before taxes. Is it worth saving the $14-20?

    Thank you much!

Wood scales were more sensitive to water, modern wood scales are stabilized and much resistent.
If you pay attention to dry it after using they will last you forever.

I have a Dovo with wood scales and they're no problem to take care of.

I'd pay the extra if only to add something new and different to my collection!

Ok cool. Yeah almost all my razors have horn scales so it may be nice trying a wood set. Thanks for the info!
