I'm 64 years old, but have finally decided to move to a straight razor.
I believe I made a bad choice in my selection for a razor

Can someone advise if I should just put this one aside and move on to a different razor.
If so, please make suggestions.

Thanked: 116Sorry to say it but yeah.... bad choice. It's a cool looking letter opener.
If you want something guaranteed shave ready, buy from the classifieds on here. I'd like to say 'go buy one of mine' but there are so many great guys selling great razors at great prices! Take a look there and if you have any questions contact the person that's selling it, everyone here is willing to answer your questions and help you through your decision.

Thanked: 116Any issues with the Hart razors seem to have been rectified by the vendors selling the razors. Once rectified, from what i've heard, their razors are top notch. I've personally got two of their razors but have yet to shave with them yet as I acquired them in a trade and have been honing other razors and test shaving them. Once i'm all done the Harts are my next venture and I'm sure they will be wonderful shavers!
