Follow the link in one of the comments to the ceramic razor; Practical Ceramic Razor Blade - Buy Ceramic Razor Blade,Plastic Straight Razor Product on Alibaba.com
It seems the name of it is "Practical ceramic razor blade", it also say; "Stainess and carbon steel blade".

If I am ever without a straight, next preference is a DE. But, after that, I'll take a "crappy" single bladed razor over the multiblade nonsense any day. Cheaper, yes, but it's also in the design. A single blade razor is designed so that blade does the shaving. Multiblade razors rely on progressive cuts and, IMO, a pull & cut scheme. OUCH.

You'll usually just ding or chip a straight, which is easy to hone out. Ceramic is much more likely to shatter or crack. Not that it matters, because sharp is only a piece of the pie. It has to be smooth shaving, too, and you have to be able to maintain and re-sharpen it.
