Thanked: 0Help! info needed on a razor named CH. Glitschka Gand
okay guys I need your help. I found this razor at an antique shop and I've been trying to find info online with no luck. This thing is huge it's 9/8+ "if I ever was in the woods and lost my ax this would be my first choice. " It looked old but you can't tell this days. So if you have seen any, how much do they go for because the price seamed a bit steep, are they any good, were it's made and any info on age and so on so on....thx in advance

Thanked: 4249Doctor, welcome to SRP, that's a razor from Belgium, Gand is the city in Beligum (Ghent) and of course the maker is CH. Glitschka .(Henri)
I found 2 mention of Glitschka cutlery in beligium from an exposition book report from 1849.

Thanked: 0Thanks Martin103 I wonder if their razors are any good I'm thinking about buying it but the price is a bit steep at $200 and I'm still a newbie on the straight razor world. Do you guys think that's a fair price for it.

Thanked: 4827If you want it bad enough it's a steal. Stuff is always worth what people will pay for it. You will find that there is not really any discussion around here about $ values on goods.
