Cell rot?
Hey guys, does this razor have cell rot? I'm not sure...

Cell rot can take many forms. it doesn't look like the classic kind. Want to know for sure? Clean the razor up so it's nice and clean and shiny and put it back in the scales and within a week or so if it's cell rot you will have corrosion again.

Thanked: 1263A pic of the scales will help as well. Some cell rot takes on the form of the scales, meaning if the scales have a tortoise shell pattern the cell rot will follow that pattern as usually the lighter color celluloid breaks down quicker.

I'll jump in on this one. This is in fact a razor I sold so I also have some pictures. So maybe you can see it more clear. You can also see the scales and they seem to be in good condition to me.
