    Default W&B With Strange mark

Question fer ya'll, as we know W&B tends to demand a premium $$$ amount, I was curious... does this look like a legit Mark for them? I'm most curious about the Lack of their standard Arrow and Cross, and also about the "s" at the end of "Wade and Butcher(s)"

    It looks OK to me.

I don't think I've ever seen a FBU W&B with any trade mark logos on it - there isn't that much room on the tang, after all.

The last 's' is an 'apostrophe s' denoting possession as in Wade & Butcher's.

    Neil

There's a number of styles / years of WB FBU razors that I know of. There are some that are not Celebrateds but do have the logo on the tang, like this one: http://users.telenet.be/snuff/styled...03a80022-2.jpg

Yes - after googling for a bit I found one, too:

but what we have both failed to have seen is that the OPs razor is not an FBU - it's an FBO (For Barbers Only) - that might or might not (probably not!) have some bearing on the matter!

    Regards,
    Neil

My FBO has the same tang stamp as that pictured in the OP.

Maybe I got it the wrong war round then Jimmy - the FBUs do and the FBOs dont?!

I have a FBU that has the same stamp as the one pictured. No Arrow and Cross. Clear as mud now....
