Thread: Custom Razor

Hello again have been looking at having a custom Straight Razor made and the name that people recommend is Brian Brown have had a look and wow !!!! got to have one made. But the problem which type etc. I am fairly new to these razors and I have a selection of 5/8 and 6/8 and admit to preferring using the 6/8 but have tried no other larger sizes so I am asking what should i go for some I have seen on here are Massive!! I think I should go for a round point which is a bit safer but that's all I know that why I have come on here to ask your advice. I see he does engraving etc on the blade and spine so could I have the date it was made on the spine etc with my name on the blade or is that to much to ask I also live in the UK would that be a problem in any way and does anybody have any idea very roughly what sort of price we are talking about in $ so I can save I would relly love to have a custom Razor made for me That would be great. So any help with what size blade shape to go would be gteat. Many Thanks Eric

Your best bet would be to pose those questions to the maker himself.

Agreed. Hit him up with your questions and see what he says. Never hurts to ask. Worst he can say is no.
