Thread: Can anyone help identify this Japanese(?) razor?

I got this frameback a few months ago, mostly because it was cheap and nobody else had put a bid on it. I have a bunch of old razors waiting to be cleaned up and restored (and I know many of you are the same ) and this one is kind of a back burner project. To me it looks to be Japanese made but I have no expertise whatsoever in the matter of eastern razors. Can anyone here read the writing in the pictures, or offer any other insight into the origin of this shaver? It is the only one of this type that I have so I am definitely going to keep it and shave with it
