An Warburton razor ?
As found, with a bunch of rusty razors, it was the one in the worst condition of the lot !
And now (you notice I don't like the overpolish mood)
First I thought it was a french razor (scales are from the begining of the 19 century, from the first french empire), the barber notch is typical of what you found on french razors from the Empire time, but the name is english : it begins with WA and ends with an N, so I think it's WARBURTON, (and not "warrant", it's my mistake) the frieze arround the name, is what I found on others english razors from the end of the XVIII.
I get an nice cut from this "perfide albion"'s razor
Now ready for the evening test
Morality : never throw away the old rusty wedge's razors ! You can't beat them !

I certainly could be Warburton, but my gut reaction is that it's not. The shape of the blade is not very Sheffield-like.
It's a very, very strange one. Looks a lot like the blades from the papillon razors. It also looks like the blade has been put into different scales a very long time ago.-Zak Jarvis. Writer. Artist. Bon vivant.

Yes, the shape is very french, but this one have a tail...maybe a French that pretends to be an English, at this time the english quality blades were very looked after in France ! (and they were rare !)
