Thanked: 10G D Abrams & Son, Wayland, NY Super wedge
Hey guys; I found this in my razor cup this morning and decided to shave with it. It was one of the best BBS shaves ive had yet. I think i found another "favorite" lol. I went looking for some info on this razor and only came up with a little info. Mr. Abrams was a barber from Wayland, NY in the late 1800's. Are these razors rare or just only certain people like them and i dont think its in the razor library.

I know you cant read the tang but thats the best i could do with my ipod. Its a great razor, a little hard to strop b/c its so thin. I believe its a 4/8. The other ones ive seen on here are faux bone or pearl or black scales.

Thanked: 116I sold one of these to a member here not TOO long ago. I absolutely loved the shave as well! They're great little wedges!

Thanked: 3Hey guys, I know that this is an older thread, but I ended up purchasing a barber's box with 9 razors in it a little while back for $65, and one of them was one of these G D Abrams & Son Wedge razors "handmade". Hearing your reports definitely gets me excited about refurbishing this one. Here's a few photos
