Default Got a "new-to-me" razor! Any info?

Well, I swung by the antique shop today to take a closer look at the razor they had and ended up picking it up. I still do think its two different razors (blade and scales), but it is nice looking. The blade looks to be in decent shape and I'm sure it'll hone up good.

I've researched the Red Point razors and didn't see where they error produced a Bismarck blade...so I think it must be a rescale.

The blade I can barely read...on the back side, I can just barely make out Kansas City. Does anyone know of a Kansas City company that made "Bismarck" blades?

Looks like a really nice set of scales for a Red Point with a Bismark blade! Unless Bismark made a Red point? I think the 3rd pin might have been added and the razor was German made for a Kansas city retailer. Someone did a fine job back in the day putting it together. I have shaved with Bismarks and they are quite good.

That one clean up real pretty! They did a good job adapting those scales? Try to send you a pm but can't send pictures on pm's. Double O

Wow! Looks very nice...well done. Hopefully it doesn't have any problems honing like my other one had.
