Thread: New Digs

I am pretty excited about my recent purchase. My wife actually wanted me to get a second razor that had been professionally honed and a norton 4/8k with the lapping stone so I got em. I ordered from SRD last night and am excited to get them. I ended up getting a Norton 4/8k with the lapping stone, a alum block, a tortoise brush stand, and a Dovo Best Quality 5/8" Blond w/ a 3" Latigo Strop. I am excited because my other razor is also a Dovo Best Quality but is starting to pull a bit. With the exact same razor coming that has been honed by Lynn, I figure it will give me the best chance of learning to hone. I will have a perfectly sharp razor to try to mimic with my honing. And the fact that they are the exact same razor makes it all the better.
ETA: Buying this stuff is addicting I must say. But there are a lot of worse things I could be spending my money on.
