Thread: Lost stubbies

Hey all, I have very sad news. Yesterday I had put my entire collection of pre-1800 razors in a small box on the table while I was building a custom case for them. My roommate thought the box was trash and it ended up going into the compactor. I recovered bits of horn and some shattered blades from the compactor... I'll try to post pics of what I have left tomorrow.

I am at a loss of words for a proper condolence...

Sounds like a case of justifiable homicide. There isn't a jury in the land that would convict you. (Unless the jury was made up of straight razor widows, of course).

Indeed... Hell, I'd pay for a ticket to get where ever he is living to help dispose of the body...

Just the thought of so much razor history through the crapper... It makes me depressed...

It is a bit odd that a whole collection of razors in a box, even if it was closed, could be overlooked. Either that roommate is criminally stupid, or it's an april's fools, I think
