Thanked: 0New Hart on the way!
Man, I've missed this board but been so busy with work I haven't had any time for the Internet.
Like lots of guys I had a bunch of reasons to start wetshaving, the main one being I no longer wanted to use cheap and inferior products OF ANY KIND on my face. Like mass produced Chinese cartridges, shave gel, etc.
I'm sure many guys have rationalized the long term savings to their SWMBOs, but I knew I'd be investing some coin. That being said....
Im looking forward to receiving my new Hart 6/8 any day now! Will post pics!
American made! This manufacturer swears by their out of the box shave readiness, so The expectations are high! Any Hart shavers out there?

Hart makes a great razor, but do not be surprised if it is not "shave ready" right out of the box.
It is easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled. Twain

I own 7 of these fine American made razors all of mine were shave ready but everyone has there own idea what shave ready is my first razor was a Dovo Black star and it shaved just fine for me out of the box I would try it and if you don't like the way it shaves put it to the hone everyone is different. But I'm sure you will be happy with it once you get it. Let us know if you thinks is shave ready once you've shaved with it.

Thanked: 23I'm an only child...very jealous, but only in the best sense of the word. Hopefully, I will be able to make a similar purchase. Hart razors are at the top of my list of wants, and high on my bucket list as well. Looking forward to pictures. Congratulations on a great purchase.
