    I never liked seeing the loud AOS advertizing on new TI blades and would not mourn its loss, if the blade will appear as a new polished unlabelled blade after cleanup. If mine, I would prefer that it be removed, if possible without marring the blade, even without a need to address the corrosion blemishes caused by prior inadequate maintenance. Just my preferrence. Good luck with your restoration.

    I'd stay away from the sandpaper. Rather go with the MicroMesh. They go to extremely high grits and you might be happier with them.
