Damn, you did a damn good job on the restore... Congrats.

And yeah, from my research, pre-1890 because of the lack of "England" on the tang. I have one that doesn't say England on it and love it. Whenever I see them on the 'bay, I keep on scrolling when I see "England" on one. I dunno why, but the post-1890 ones just don't seem as desirable to me, and judging from the prices I see on both, others agree!

Also, congrats on getting a barber's notch one... I have a W&B barber's notch on the way and can't wait to get my hands on it! Yes, it'll be my second W&B, and yes, it does not say "England" on it.
