Thanked: 9NOS Dorko arrived today
My Grandfather used one of these so I was really glad to get it.
Listed as 7/8 but seems a bit bigger... Will probably shave with it today or tomorrow but I'll introduce it to my Belgian natural, Escher, and CrO2 bench hone first. Very close to shave-ready.
Cheers

Thanked: 9From Joachim - a guy in Germany. He was selling 2 Dorkos on ebay and I could not get one (long story short - 2greens beat me, snipe didn't go through, etc.) so I asked him and he sent me another one.
Cheers

Beautiful razor in any circumstance, even better with the family connection.
It's probably psychological but I have a preference among Solingen blades for those that have a pattern stamped across the tang at the base of the blade as this one does.

Thanked: 9I knew it was larger - just measured it today.
Expected 15/16 but it's actually even bigger - just a hair under 8/8. Not that it matters so much to me but it was listed / sold by the manufacturer as a 7/8 and I did not expect it to be as large.
Pointing this in regard to an older thread about tolerance in Solingen manufacturer sizes and actual overall blade width.
Cheers

I bought the same razor from him about six months ago. It is my favorite razor. I lucked out with it and got it for a fairly cheap price. Great shaver..
