Unmarked razor
This particular razor has no manufacturers stamping on the tang. Its driving me nuts I know I have seen this exact razor with a manufacturer stamping on it. I have been searching high and low and have had no luck locating the picture of what I have seen. For some reason, but I am not certain I think I may have seen a Boker that was a match, but Im not sure. If anyone recognizes this razor and has any pictures of a match to this razor with a manufacturers mark on it would be greatly appreciated. There is a bounty on finding this information with a picture. To who finds it first, I will mail you Arko shave stick and an alum block ( yes they are new LOL)
Sincerely Tony

Thanked: 443I used to have one engraved "Pride of the West" in exactly the same font and style. It didn't have a thumb notch or jimping, but it took a pretty good edge. It was my first straight. I gave it away at a meetup last year. If I can remember or find out any more about it, I'll post here.
BTW, my very best shaver now is of unknown origin; it just says "Our Special" on the tang. Anything else got buffed away by a previous owner. At least it doesn't say "Our Precioussss.""These aren't the droids you're looking for." "These aren't the droids we're looking for." "He can go about his business." "You can go about your business."

Instead of solving your problem, I'll bet that I have just added to your confusion!

Thanked: 443I'll do my little bit to subtract from it... looked back through old posts and found a pic of my old Pride of the West razor. The font was a good bit more gothic, not identical to yours. So disregard my original post, and good luck IDing your blade.

Yes I do believe you have made it more confusing , the script on all 3 blades you posted matches exactly the one I have, and more over the 3 razors you posted are 3 different manufacturers . So I guess the stamp on the blade is not going to be way to identify my razor. With any luck some one will have an exact match with a manufactures stamp.

Thanked: 12This is a pretty close match... the only thing missing from yers is the "Fully warranted" unlike the others posted here, this one has the Thumb notch as well... have you looked on the end of the tail to see if there is a faint tree? this one was made by Boker for a dist. company so the only Boker mark is the one on the tail...
