Thanked: 3215Robeson & Barbers Delight are they the same?
I picked up this razor stamped “Barbers Delight” on thehammered tang. It is the only marking on the razor. I purchased this razor outof a collection from New York that had several razors of Little Valleymanufactures.
This razor appears identical to a razor that I have seen aphoto of that is a Robeson SurEdge, Scale design and material, blade design, stamping and overall size and appearance all appear the same.
There have been similar threads regarding this with no resolution.I can find no reference that Robeson used the Barbers Delight stamping ormarking.
Is this a Robeson razor?
Itis a super shaver, as are all the Little Valley razors I have tried.
The first 4 photos are the Barbers Delight, the last is a Robeson

Thanked: 3215Yes, thank you, I saw that thread, but one razor does not make it so. There have to be other examples out there.
Explain this one… it is another razor from the same collection. An Alwin with Genco Red Cross scales no other marking on this razor. Was this Alwin made by Geneva? Red Cross was Geneva/Genco.
I thought Alwin, was made by Ontario Cutlery?
