    I think they are great razors. I shaved with a 7/8 TI this morning, buttery smooth, but then again, that's true for any quality properly honed and stropped razor. So, if you like they way they look and they otherwise appeal to you, go for it. Here's a picture of mine from a shave earlier this week. It's made with the same steel as the one you are considering, and it hones well and holds an edge like a razor should:
