    The scales are celluloid. don't really know if it is silver or pewter?

    I have the same razor with the brown scales and silver inlay, but the barber notch is a little different. Do you have any info on those scales? what material etc etc...

    Celluloid.....I feared...
    I have seen similar scales, one seller claimed that they might have been tortoise shell, another described them as dyed horn with silver inlay so I wasn't sure.
    Also, that IS a Joseph Elliot isn't it? It starts at 6/8 and the smile adds to approximately 7/8. Great shaver!

    No. its a Wade & Butcher. it might be blonde sheep horn. but not really sure on that.
