Thanked: 0Which Razor used in India / Orient?
I've seen photos of wet shaves in India and Turkey. From what I gather from some of the things I've seen on the net, barbers there still shave with a str8 and alot of tourists go for a shave.
I'm curious which razors are most common in those places. The Paki junk razors get such a bad rap here but I wonder if these beasties are being used. I've seen a number of photos on flicker, etc. but I can't make out a brand. Anyone have any first hand experience?

Got shaved in Turkey. That barber used a shavette of some cheap kind, but it was a good shave.

They're most likely DOVOs. They shave great, will last a decade (in a barbershop) and are working no-frills shavers that won't break the bank.

In Thailand, I saw them use some Shavette-style Feathers (not the Artist Club series - but the blades were the same size)
I bought some of the blades, but they were nowhere near the Pros or Super-Pros.
