Thanked: 1263As far as I know, nowhere. The closest to you would probably be Fendrihan in Ontario.

It looks like there is a house of knives in Halifax, I got my first Dovo at the one in Kelowna, just make sure to send it out to be honed.

I know that seeing and holding the razor first is nice but why not just buy online? I mean, you seem to be going to so much effort to try to buy a blade in person, when buying from a reliable online retailer will be quick, easy and you won't have to go anywhere, either!

There are some GREAT deals right HERE : Straight Razors - Straight Razor Place Classifieds
I do believe from about $25 and up.
If I had to buy my FIRST straight again, I would have liked to know about this forum and the Classifieds!

I know the feeling of wanting to buy in person.... but sometimes you don't have that option.
No credit card is not the end.....
Can you set up a PayPal account?
I think all you need is a checking or savings account at your bank.
Not 100% sure about this though.
Whatever you decide is up to you. I would TRUST the guys selling here, they have a true LOVE for razors and the "sport" of wet shaving. I don't think you would go wrong. JUST MY OPINION..

Thanked: 3I would second the classifieds or online, your fighting a loosing battle trying to find good gear from a brick and mortar location. If Paypal isn't a possibility I know those pre-payed cards work online and a number of reputable dealers will then be available to you. Also the guys on here that are selling things on the classifieds are excellent guys who are active on the forum, I have bought several things there and couldn't be happier.
