Thanked: 0To restore or not to restore??? That is the question...
Hi all, NewBee here and just wondering about tips on weather to restore a razor or not?? When buying on e-bay. Should the original patina be kept or polish and hone??? will it affect the value and so forth. Sorry if this type of question has been asked and answered before.
Thanks.

Thanked: 13249It is up to you and your own opinion
Keep in mind what most people call Patina is rust
Patina is a Glossy Light Gray coating over the steel, if there are Dark spots, Black spots or Red spots it ain't Patina

Not is easier! I vote Not!

I say if you can do it right, do it. If not, don't, or send it out. Or be willing to write it off...
