Thread: Weekend's finds with questions: Rodgers, Wade & Butcher, Wostenholm

I'm still pretty new to the straight razor world, but I saw this nice 6/8 semi-wedge Joseph Rodgers and Son, and it followed me home. Are these horn scales? I've been looking for some blades to make new scales for, but should I save these instead? One of them has been repaired.





He also had this Wade & Butcher. I decided to leave it, since the blade looked like it was butchered pretty badly. I thought I'd bring a picture in case you guys think it's worth a second look.



The last one is this little Geo Wostenholm and Son. It looks to be in really nice shape, but the blade is pretty narrow. I left that guy there, too.
