Thanked: 11Boker King Cutter
I have the subject razor with this stamp on the tang:
I am surprised that the reverse side of the tang has no country stamped on it. If it were made in Germany would it have that stamped on it. I got it off the bay and surprisingly it was pretty close to shave ready when I got it, I gave it a few laps on a Norton 8K and It gives a great shave. It would be cool if it was made in the USA, I love things made here.

If it says Böker, it's made in Germany.
[EDIT] Well, apparently I was wrong. There are indeed Bökers marked 'made in USA', so yeah. You learn something every day.Last edited by Pithor; 05-02-2013 at 05:40 AM. Reason: I now know stuff I didn't know before

Thanked: 28Boker did manufacture razors in the US at one time, but most razors come from Germany, I have one made in USA but it clearly says Boker USA on the tang. Yours is made in Germany I'm pretty sure.

Thanked: 11Thanks, being from Germany is cool too. Now I have to resist the urge to buy a shoulderless Elite I discovered on the Boker site.
