Blades for shavette
Hi. I recently bought 2 shavettes on eBay & now I can't find blades to fit. The blade holder/inserts have holes that look like a dovo long blade will fit but the holes don't line up. Neither the personna blades nor regular DE blades fit either. I asked the seller for advice but was told the shavettes are 'rare' & will be hard to find blades for (thanks buddy). If anyone has any ideas, I'd appreciate it. Thanks guys

Is there a manufacturers name on the shavette?

On the handle there's three stars & some characters that aren't written in English. Nothing I can read or refer to.
Ill try Atlanta barber supply. Thanks.

Those look like the inserts that the Dovo Shavette uses. I know they make different inserts for different blades so maybe one of their other inserts might work.

Yea; that's exactly what I thought. Unfortunately this one has 3 evenly spaced holes whereas the dovo ones aren't evenly spaced. And the shavettes are narrower so I can't even put a dovo insert in. Woe is me

I just bought another shavette on eBay exactly like the 2 I already have simply because it comes with a box of blades. Once I have the box, hopefully I can track down more blades
(Now, hopefully, they actually provide a decent shave)

If your still interested in a shavette , try DX.com. The solid stainless and Derby professional 1/2 blades. Very reasonable and a great shavette combo.

Try a Sally's beauty supply. They carry a good variety. also the large blade you show can be snapped in half to fit some shavettes. Good luck. Also look on imagesupplyhouse.net, they also carry a good variety.

I do not think the insert you have is a DOVO Shavette Insert.
Compare it with these:-
The ends of your insert appears round rather than angled!
I use and recommend the green insert with Personna blades.
Hope this helps,
