    Default Dovo Flowing/Master's/Carre jimps

I am thinking of buying a Dovo Flowing, so far I only held Dovo Masters (out of these three) which had jimps on the inner side if I remember correctly. I noticed that Flowing hasn't got the jimps (and if I understand correctly neither does Carre).
Can someone please comment the lack of jimps and the holding feel/firmness of Flowing (I like the jimps on both sides ) ?

    thanks

Ps. if anyone has any links to (a good priced) Carre sold in EU please let me know, they seem to be sold out?

I have a Flowing and with the thumb notch on the tang you won't miss the jimps.

7 out of 8 in my regular rotation have no jimps, I notice no difference when I shave with them over the one that does.

I have the La Forme and a desert ironwood #122 Dovos who share the blade type with the carre, as they do with the flowing if you ignore the spine decorations. the thumb notch on these two does indeed eliminate the need for jimps. as a matter of fact I liked it so much, that when I got a Revisor I made sure it was thumb notched, too. definitely my favorite blade design.

I have razors with and without and the partials and it makes no difference as far as shaving goes. I consider it more a decorative thing.

Maybe if you're a real butterfingers it may help.

I'm also extremely pleased with the thumb notches. Any of the Dovo 6/8 thumb-notch blades are, in my opinion, ergonomically excellent.
