    Default Help Identifying razor

I acquired this razor recently and I am trying to identify the manufacturer and whether it has been restored and rescaled or still in original condition. I cannot find it in the database at all (the manufacturer yes, the razor itself no) so maybe someone could help me out here. In case you cannot see, the box says H. Boker & Co. and the shank has it too (I think, its really worn so it's not easily read anymore) Thanks

It appears to be an H. Boker razor with covered tang. Since the tang piece is broken, I doubt it is restored. They made them with light covered tangs and dark scales. Pins look original from the distant shot.

    Yes. It's a Boker razor.

But the razor in this thread has ivory scale tang, not solid ivory tang as in the catalog.

Thanks. That answers quite a bit. I do however note that the scales do not have the embossed tree logo that I have seen on some. Is this an indicator that it's been rescaled or is it possible that it just either didnt have one to begin with or has worn off.
