The old one has none of those. The pictures with the "broken" bevel and the chips are from a recent DOVO, just to compare the quality. The old one has a really fine edge. Sure, I could touch it up and give it a little extra, but the idea of keeping the edge in a kind of "virgin" state seems to be a lovely thing to me.
