    Default Love this Shumate Peacemaker

    I picked this Shumate Peacemaker up recently on ebay and it was close to shave ready so I gave it a little light honing passes on the 8k Norton followed by 30 passes on the material side and 60 passes on the leather side of my Big Daddy strop. Shaved with it a while ago using Bigelow's shave cream and I am very impressed at the shave I got. I can't wait to try my other five Shumates when I get them restored and honed.

    I think Shumates are very under rated razors. When properly honed, I've never had anything but a great shave from them.
